Welcome to Waterhall Farm!

Visit us at the Ancaster Farmer’s Market (with Frank)  on Wednesday from 3 - 7 and at the Dundas Farmer’s Market on Thursday from 3 - 7 pm. Look forward to seeing you!

Fresh seasonal vegetables, herbs and flowers are available beginning in May right through until the Thanksgiving weekend in October. We only sell what we grow and a lot of what we grow is called heirloom variety vegetables, herbs and flowers that have been around for years but are normally not available in supermarkets. You won’t believe the flavour and the variety! Have you ever tried purple tomatoes, or purple beans? How about Armenian cucumbers? These are just a few of the varieties we grow. If we don’t have what you are looking for let us know. We may not be able to grow it this year but there is always next year. The market is open 3 days a week (Friday to Sunday) and for your convenience there is an “honour system” self serve wagon full of produce. If you can’t find what you are looking for however, feel free to ask us what is available.

We are not certified organic primarily because of all the paperwork but we care about our health and yours. We don’t use chemical fertilizers, insecticides and fungicides if we can help it.

On Saturdays and Sundays feel free to visit ourantiques and collectibles shop, take leisurely stroll through our gardens and visit members of our family; Hansel & Gretal (Haflinger ponies), Alleycat (Hackney pony), Merlin & Peek-a-boo (miniature horses), Sally, Heidi and the rest of the pygmy and Angora goat gang. We also have the “sing-along-crowd”, peacocks, turkeys, chickens, pheasants and rabbits who would also love to say hello to you.
